Week 62 - Happy Halloween ya'll!

Hope everyone is enjoying the 2nd best day of the year :D
We've had a fun week! It started with exchanges in Bessemer, where we and the STL's dressed up as the OZ group for their ward's trunk or treat. I was the Wizard, obviously. (Not so obviously from the pics, but now you know).

Once back in our own boundaries we dressed as a Death Eater and Frankenstein for the Northport ward's trunk or treat. (NP ward feeds us.)

Then for our YSA FHE costume party we went as Janis Joplin and Morticia Adams. Needless to say, we've gotten the most out of our last Halloween on the mission.

Last night the Elders left a meal from one of their members on our porch for us, and when we got home a cat was eating it..

We got news last night that Sister Begay is being transferred, so I carved a pumpkin by myself while she packed up 18 months of her life, to spend the last 6 weeks of her mission as a Sister Training Leader in one last area! I'm so happy for her and proud. I will miss our time together more than words.

Things are still going so well here. I'm scared to be here without Sister Begay, but I know it's a necessary change.

Cole, our recent convert, told us today that he felt the spirit for the first time while talking to his brother over fall break, about his journey in the Gospel so far. Oh man, it was such a sweet thing! To hear him recognize a distinct moment when he felt the spirit all on his own. Even to know it impacted him enough that he wanted to tell us about it. My heart swells. I'm so grateful to be working with the YSA. I'm so grateful for my mission, and the things that have changed in me. I still have things to work on, but I know there have been changes.

I love you all so much, hope you have a great week
Love Teirs

P.S. Just a couple Southern treats for ya
