Temikare with Family

Temikare gets Baptized this Saturday - Feb 25, 2017

Temikare is officially getting baptized this Saturday!!! She had some adversity set in last week, which is to be expected. But she's incredible, and got through it, and is taking one of the greatest steps of her life this weekend. I am so excited for her, and so amazed by her honest and simple testimony. She's been talking to all of her family about the gospel, and they will all be there to support her. She's opening so many doors, because of her love for everyone around her. She wants everyone to have the
happiness she has found.


We've been able to start teaching her daughter, sister in law, and little nieces!

So, the terrible news is I'm being transferred to Hoover, AL *tomorrow*(Feb 21, 2017). :( So
devastated that I won't be able to witness one of the greatest days in the life of someone I've come to love so much. She tried on the suit last Sunday, so I at least got to see her in white. The most important thing is that she's accepted the gospel, and is now bringing so many souls to Christ because of her example. I love this woman so much.

This sweet couple in the ward live right on the Tennessee River, and had us over for dinner a couple nights ago. We got to watch tug boats push massive barges up the river. It was beautiful.

So for my last day in Tennessee we got up at 5:30am and drove to the banks of the Tennessee River to watch the sun rise. It was cloudy and raining of course.. haha! But if you know me.. you know I didn't mind. It was perfect.

Shilo National Cemetery

Then we went to Shilo National Park.. AMAZING. It was crazy to be standing on the ground of one of the deadliest battles of the Civil War. Not really sure how to put it into words. All I can say is I'm so grateful I didn't have to live through what those men (and their families) had to.
