Week 26 - "Ya'll are slicker than a poop on a sycamore limb on a frosty mornin!"

Ok so there's this man we've taught a bit.. He's hilarious. He always calls
us "fellers." "How ya'll fellers doin today?!" We saw him out walking as we
drove by the other day, so we stopped to say hi. He got so excited, and
started telling us that he bought his girl friend a cushioned toilet seat
for Valentines Day! Haha, then he grabbed it (I have no idea where from..
it was just suddenly in his hands), and said that when he gave it to her
she said "Thanks for the TV tray!" And put it on like this:

Hahaha. We were dying. Then before we left he goes, "Ya know...Ya'll are
slicker than a poop on a sycamore limb on a frosty mornin!" Dahahaha
WHAT???? I'm going to start keeping a quote book, of all the crazy southern
sayings I hear.

We went on a much needed, beautiful hike today in Florence with the Zone!
I'll try to load some pics, but the computers we're on are terrible. Then
we all got lunch and ice cream after :) so fun. Florence it one of my
favorite cities in AL. It's right on the Tennessee River, so there are
really cool bridges and cliffs. It's super pretty in the summer, when the
cliffs are covered in vines and ferns.

Aw man.. the library is about to close. I'll send more details and

Temikare went MIA after church last week, didn't show up to our two
appointments this week, and didn't come to church yesterday, even though
she said she was going to at 9pm the night before. Now she's not responding
to us so... That's that. Hopefully we'll get back in touch sometimes soon.
Going to give her some space and time to process. This has happen before
with investigators, she's just been the closest one. One of the hardest
things of this work.

It's going to be a great week though! We're working on being positive ;)
