Spent some precious time this morning on the phone with Sister Smith as she prepared to enter the field in Alabama. :)
Her sweet spirit shone through just a brightly over the phone as it has in her emails home and she is ready for this next phase of her service. She spoke fondly of the many tender mercies she encountered in the MTC including encounters with family and friends also serving there and in the Provo temple.
Teirsa will be celebrating a birthday soon after her arrival in Alabama and we know she will be celebrating with her ever expanding "family" of fellow missionaries. That said, a few words from those of us keeping watch at home couldn't hurt: teirsa.smith@myldsmail.net.
