Week 46 - Fireworks and Free Lemonade

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall
be filled -Matthew 5:6   "FREE LEMONADE!!"

HI!

So the 4th of July was way fun. We decided to set up a Free Lemonade and Face Painting stand down on the River Walk. It was perfect, because everyone would park and walk up the river walk to get to the fireworks and festivities in Downtown Tuscaloosa! We put Book of Mormons and pamphlets out on the table, so people would ask us questions while we painted their kids faces. It was so fun! Everyone was super friendly, and we were able to teach tons of families.

Wong is still doing great. We had another awesome lesson with him. Man, it's just so cool teaching these things to someone who's hearing them for the first time. I wish I knew how to describe it. Being able to experience how truly incredible this message is. Sometimes we get so casual and take for granted the things we know. Have you ever tried reading the scriptures like you were learning brand new principles? Try it. Read Alma 18:24-41.

I also tried this with reading my Patriarchal Blessing. Read yours as though you were giving it to someone else. The promises and blessings and beautiful things said, no matter how simple, are so powerful.

We have to go, and the computer won't load any pictures.. I'll try to get some more out next week.

I love you all,

Love Teirs
